Engineering Skills and Responsibilities:
Preliminary civil design drawings, reports, council codes and documents for Development Approval.
Detailed design of erosion sediment control, earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, sewerage, water reticulation and building hydraulics.
Lodgement of Operational Works Approval, dealing with council, pre-start meetings with council, site inspections, on maintenance and off maintenance inspections.
Liaising with clients, councils, contractors and other consultants.
Preparation of preliminary cost estimates, bill of quantities and tender documents.
Software used includes AutoCAD, 12D, PC Drain, MUSIC and Microsoft Office.
