vT Consulting Engineers completed the civil detailed design of this proposed residential subdivision in Belmont into 11 lots.
This included erosion and sediment control, bulk earthworks, roadwork design, line markings and signs, and stormwater drainage. vTCE were also engaged to prepare the detailed design of drawings of water and sewer reticulation for Queensland Urban Utilities.
In addition, vTCE were engaged to complete the Civil Contract Administration responsibilities including the compilation of the tender documents (including the contract), submission of claims on behalf of the Contractor, conducting inductions for all contractors involved, negotiating extensions of time, co-ordinating meetings, and issuing certificates.
Having worked with vT Consulting Engineers (vTCE) previously, I had no hesitation engaging vTCE for the Civil Consulting services on an 11 Lot private subdivision. My experience with Lyle Weeks (Civil Engineering Technical Officer) was enjoyable.
Despite my demanding requests, Lyle was always professional and demonstrated his knowledge from a practical point of view, which is invaluable in the consulting world. Lyle ensured the smooth running of the project through regular liaison with Local Authorities and the Contractor, which contributed to the success of the project. He was in contact with me on a weekly basis and identified and handled all design issues. Lyle also assisted in the validation of variations, completed partial quantifying, and approved claims.
We have no hesitation in recommending vTCE for any design and Superintendent role.
